Explosions Rock Kyiv Amid Intensified Russian Attacks, Putin Orders Army Expansion
Severe explosions have been reported in Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, as Russia continues its daily assaults, coinciding with President Vladimir Putin’s directive to significantly expand the Russian army.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Reuters reported that powerful explosions were heard in Kyiv early this morning amid the ongoing daily Russian attacks.
The Mayor of Kyiv confirmed that missile debris fell on a building in the city, and a fire broke out in another building in the Ukrainian capital.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force had reported an attack involving 124 Russian drones, stating that Kyiv was the primary target.
In related developments, Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered an increase in the size of the country’s army by 15,500 personnel. This expansion will bring the total strength of the Russian army to 1,550,000 soldiers.
