Sudan Accuses UAE of Supporting Rapid Support Forces at UN

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, citing Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed via Mehr News Agency, Harith Idris, Sudan‘s envoy to the United Nations, stated during an address to the UN General Assembly that the UAE is providing military and logistical assistance to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and is complicit in the continuation of the civil war in Sudan.

Idris further asserted that foreign support for the RSF is prolonging the conflict and intensifying the humanitarian crisis within Sudan. He indicated that Khartoum has presented the United Nations with necessary evidence and documentation regarding the UAE’s backing of these paramilitary forces, which reportedly includes facilitating networks for the transfer of RSF elements and equipment.

Concluding his remarks, Idris issued a direct challenge to the UAE, stating, “You are not even worth the laces on Kleebe’s shoes,” using a phrase often employed to express extreme contempt for an adversary.
