Trump Claims North Korea Can Have Nuclear Weapons Because Kim Jong Un Likes Him
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump, speaking to reporters at the White House, addressed why North Korea can possess nuclear weapons while Iran should not. He responded, “Because he (Kim Jong Un) respects me and likes me.”
Trump further commented on the North Korean leader, saying, “He is my friend. Kim Jong Un likes Trump. He doesn’t like many other people. I am almost the only person in the entire world that he likes, and I like him too.”
He added, “Every time I say this, I face a lot of criticism. People say this is terrible.”
The U.S. President also spoke about the future of his relationship with the North Korean leader, stating, “As long as I am here, he will be fine. Do you know why? Because he respects me and likes me.”
These remarks come as Trump has previously expressed his desire for another meeting with Kim Jong Un. Trump and the North Korean leader met three times during Trump’s first presidential term: the first meeting in Singapore in June 2018, the second in Hanoi in February 2019, and the third at the border area of Panmunjom in June 2019.
The inconsistency in the policies of the United States and the International Atomic Energy Agency is not limited to North Korea. The Zionist regime, despite not having signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), possesses nuclear weapons.
