Yemen Denounces Saudi Claims of Medina Attack as False
Yemen’s Supreme Political Council chairman, Mahdi al-Mashat, has labeled Saudi Arabia’s renewed claims of targeting Medina as an unprecedented failure, asserting full responsibility for any aggression against holy sites lies with Riyadh.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mahdi al-Mashat, the Chairman of Yemen‘s Supreme Political Council, stated that Saudi Arabia’s repeated fabrications regarding the targeting of Medina represent an unprecedented failure. He also placed full responsibility on Saudi Arabia for any aggression against Mecca, Medina, and the Prophet’s Mosque.
In line with this, a Yemeni military source affirmed that Saudi claims about the targeting of Medina’s power plant are baseless. The source further elaborated that this new falsehood is intended to cover up Saudi failures, similar to previous false claims about an attack on Mecca.
Saudi Arabia had alleged that Yemeni forces targeted the Al-Taybah power plant in Medina.
