Hamas Condemns Israeli ‘Genocidal War’ Following Gaza Strike

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has denounced an Israeli airstrike that killed five civilians in Gaza City as evidence of the occupation forces’ insistence on continuing a genocidal war. The group called on international mediators and the United States to assume responsibility and take serious stances to contain the Israeli regime.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas stated that the deadly targeting of the ‘Al-Asalah’ building in western Gaza City is a brutal crime underscoring the occupation forces’ determination to persist with their genocidal war in the Gaza Strip. The movement highlighted that the Israeli regime’s war cabinet continues to escalate the killing of defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip. In its latest atrocity, an airstrike early on Saturday morning on the ‘Al-Asalah’ building killed a man and four women, including a mother and daughter from the Palestinian Christian community.

Hamas emphasized that this brutal attack demonstrates the occupation forces’ resolve to target various segments of the Palestinian population and inflict suffering upon them as part of a clear and continuous policy of genocide and destruction being executed before the eyes of the world. The movement urged mediators and the U.S. administration to accept their responsibilities regarding these dangerous violations and adopt firm positions to rein in the Israeli regime.

Furthermore, Hamas called for confronting the efforts of war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu to use a ceasefire agreement as a cover to continue the genocidal war and killings, deepen the human catastrophe, and advance plans that threaten the Palestinian people and their presence in their homeland. The movement also implored the international community, the United Nations, and its affiliated bodies to take immediate action to halt the Israeli regime’s violations against Palestinian civilians and to confront its blatant challenge to international values and laws.

In conclusion, Hamas urged all countries worldwide to intensify their actions to sanction and isolate the terrorist regime, and to take the necessary steps to hold it accountable and prosecute it for its crimes.
