Brazil Presidential Election Heads to Runoff Between Da Silva and Bolsonaro

Brazil’s presidential election will proceed to a second round after current President Lula da Silva and Senator Flavio Bolsonaro, son of Jair Bolsonaro, secured the most votes in the initial stage, but neither achieved the required majority to win outright.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Brazil’s presidential election has been extended to a second round. Initial results from the first round indicate that current President Lula da Silva and Senator Flavio Bolsonaro, son of former President Jair Bolsonaro, garnered the highest number of votes.
