Qatar and Jordan Condemn Israeli Operations in Syria’s ‘Sofa Line 53’

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Qatar and Jordan have reacted strongly to the resumption of Israeli regime activities along a route known as ‘Sofa Line 53’ in Syria‘s Quneitra province. Both countries are urging the international community to take immediate action to stop Israel’s measures.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar affirmed Doha’s full support for Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity. It stated that the Israeli regime’s actions pose a serious threat to regional security.
Fuad Al-Majali, spokesperson for the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, voiced strong opposition to the Israeli regime’s actions, deeming them contrary to the United Nations Charter and the regime’s obligations under the 1974 agreement.
The ‘Sofa Line 53’ route is situated in the southern suburbs of Quneitra and serves as a communication path connecting several areas. Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the self-proclaimed President of Syria had condemned the recommencement of operations on this route, characterizing it as a violation of the 1974 disengagement agreement and international legitimacy resolutions.
