USS Abraham Lincoln Returns to U.S. Shores After Extended Mission, Reports of Crew Distress Emerge

The decommissioned USS Abraham Lincoln has docked on the U.S. West Coast following a prolonged deployment, as reports surface detailing adverse psychological conditions and suicide attempts among its crew.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the decommissioned USS Abraham Lincoln has returned to American shores after a lengthy mission along the West Coast. Families of the personnel stationed on the carrier gathered at the port of San Diego, California, anticipating their reunion after approximately one year. Previous reports had indicated concerning psychological distress among the sailors, including documented suicide attempts.

The Lincoln departed California in November 2025, heading towards the South China Sea, before being redeployed to participate in aggressions against Iran. The carrier’s mission, exceeding 250 days in regional waters, reportedly led to the vessel’s deterioration and created adverse psychological conditions for the American servicemen, prompting several individuals to attempt suicide.
