Yemeni Forces Strike Riyadh Airport, Damaging Aircraft, Say Sources

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen, informed sources speaking with Agence France-Presse stated that at least one aircraft at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport sustained significant damage hours after powerful explosions occurred at the facility. Reuters, quoting three sources, also reported that smoke seen rising from the Riyadh airport originated from an aircraft.
The spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces announced on Thursday evening that their forces had targeted King Khalid Airport in Riyadh with two cruise missiles, Najran Airport with one ballistic missile, and the airbase in Khamis Mushait with another ballistic missile.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, in a statement published on social media, added that these attacks were carried out with precision and direct hits, resulting in disruption to air traffic at both airports and causing damage to them and the airbase.
Media reports indicated that at least three aircraft were damaged in the missile attack by Yemeni armed forces on Riyadh airport, with one of them suffering severe destruction.
