Russian Forces Advance in Donetsk, Liberating Industrial Sites

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian defense authorities have reported successful advancements by Russian forces in the Donetsk region. The Ministry of Defense of Russia stated that Russian troops made progress in the central and northwestern parts of the city of Dobropillya in Donetsk. The ministry further elaborated that 137 buildings, encompassing three industrial facilities, were liberated by Russian forces in Dobropillya within a single day. A statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense indicated that an enemy force, supported by armored vehicles, attempted to break the encirclement of Ukrainian armed forces units in Dobropillya but was unsuccessful. The Russian Ministry of Defense also reported that a number of Ukrainian soldiers were killed by Russian forces in the past few hours. Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense had also reported that Russian armed forces had taken control of the settlements of Novotroitskoye and Petrovskoye in Donetsk, and Reznikovo and Kupino in the Kharkiv region. The Russian Ministry of Defense’s statement noted that over the past 24 hours, two guided aerial bombs and 909 Ukrainian drones were shot down.
