Egypt Signs 20 Agreements with South Korea, Malaysia, and Indonesia

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi announced that twenty agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed between Egypt and South Korea, Malaysia, and Indonesia during his Asian tour with an accompanying delegation. The agreements aim to bolster development, trade, and technological cooperation, facilitate knowledge and experience exchange, localize new industries, and attract Asian investments into the Egyptian market and the Suez Canal economic zone.
Upon his return to Egypt, el-Sisi emphasized to reporters that Cairo is prepared to provide all necessary facilities to support investments from business and economic actors of these three countries in Egypt. He also stated that Egypt’s foreign policy, which is based on “balance, moderation, and restraint,” is gradually demonstrating its effects in the country’s international relations.
The Egyptian President noted that the respect he observed during the trip, both at the official level and among the people of the host countries, reflects Egypt’s positive image and confidence in its political approach. He added that this level of political trust and credibility can serve as an incentive to strengthen economic and trade cooperation and attract more foreign investments to Egypt.
El-Sisi further explained that the trip was part of Cairo’s efforts to expand cooperation with Asian economies and diversify Egypt’s international relations.
