Brent Crude Oil Surpasses $110 Per Barrel Amid Middle East Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Brent crude oil prices have breached the $110 per barrel threshold for the first time since May. This surge is attributed to growing concerns over the intensification of tensions in the Middle East, which are projected to exert further pressure on global oil supplies. Investors are simultaneously assessing the volume of diesel products that Russia may be able to supply to international markets.
In line with these developments, Brent crude futures saw an increase of $3.94, or 3.7 percent, reaching $109.86 per barrel, marking its highest level since May 19. Concurrently, U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also experienced a rise, adding $3.44, or 3.5 percent, to settle at $101.41 per barrel, the highest point since September 17.
