A one-week military siege imposed by the Israeli regime on the West Bank city of Hebron has forced more than 3,300 Palestinians, including over 1,400 children, to flee their homes while inflicting severe economic and educational disruption.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, local officials in the West Bank city of Hebron reported that a continuous one-week military blockade enforced by the Israeli regime has compelled 3,361 Palestinians to abandon their residences, among whom 1,425 are children.

Authorities estimate that the financial toll resulting from the sweeping closures and movement restrictions during this period ranges between 10 million and 12 million shekels, approximately equivalent to $31.8 million to $38.2 million. Hundreds of industrial and commercial enterprises have sustained direct impacts from the siege, with numerous facilities located in the Farsh al-Hawa district suffering physical damage, bulldozer destruction, or total demolition.

Furthermore, educational activities throughout the region have faced severe disruption, impacting an estimated 262,000 students, while 2,198 students remain trapped directly within the besieged zones. Local authorities stated that they are actively coordinating efforts to deliver humanitarian aid, establish alternative housing arrangements, and pursue diplomatic and legal measures at the international level.
