US Senior Official Warns Iran Over Negotiations Ahead of Congressional Elections

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Donald Bloom, a senior US State Department official for Near Eastern affairs, addressed the Manama Security Dialogue in Bahrain, asserting that Washington remains open to negotiations with Tehran while simultaneously warning that alternative measures are under consideration.
Speaking on the sidelines of the regional security summit ahead of the upcoming congressional elections, Bloom claimed that diplomatic communication channels remain operational and that the United States has extended its hand for talks. However, he emphasized that Washington stands ready to adopt different strategies if necessary, adding that his administration will not permit the region or the global economy to be held hostage.
