Russian Air Defense Systems Intercept Over Two Hundred Ukrainian Drones

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, …
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its air defense units detected and neutralized 212 unmanned aerial vehicles launched by Ukraine over the course of the previous night. The aerial attacks targeted various parts of Russian territory, including the Moscow region, Rostov, Krasnodar, the Republic of Crimea, as well as the airspaces above the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
This escalation marks a new phase in the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, with both capitals intensifying their mutual drone and missile strikes.
The continuation of these hostilities persists despite earlier claims by United States President Donald Trump, who had asserted he could bring the war to an end in less than twenty-four hours. The prolonged conflict during Trump’s second year in office has severely challenged his administration’s foreign policy standing and undermined his previous assertions regarding a swift resolution.
