On the 109th anniversary of the issuance of the Balfour Declaration, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement released an official statement holding successive British administrations legally and morally accountable for the historic document and its severe repercussions for the Palestinian population.
The resistance movement emphasized that the steadfastness demonstrated by Palestinians across the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and refugee camps serves as an impenetrable barrier against ongoing plots aimed at forced displacement and the liquidation of the Palestinian cause.
Furthermore, the statement underscored that the Palestinian people remain the rightful owners of their land, asserting that no conspiracy or political agreement can undermine their legitimate rights.
Concluding its statement, Islamic Jihad called upon Arab and Islamic nations, alongside global proponents of freedom, to bolster their support for the Palestinian struggle.
