Democrats Take Early Lead in US Midterm Elections with 114 House Seats

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, early results from the ongoing United States midterm elections show that the Democratic Party has successfully secured 114 out of the 435 available seats in the House of Representatives.
Meanwhile, the Republican Party has lagged behind in the initial counts, securing only 65 seats at this stage of the electoral process.
In the Senate races, Democratic candidate Eni Andrews defeated Darlene Graham in South Carolina. Darlene Graham was the sister of the late Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who was known for his staunchly anti-Iranian positions.
In addition, Democratic candidate Talarico has taken the lead in Texas following the tabulation of 56 percent of the ballots. Reports also indicate that by securing a victory in South Carolina, the Democrats have successfully claimed their second Senate seat.
