The Iraqi resistance movement Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada has formally rejected the remarks made by Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, describing his claims regarding the group’s weaponry as lacking precision and accuracy.

In a related stance, the resistance faction emphasized its full adherence to the sovereign agreement established between the Coordination Framework and the Prime Minister of Iraq.

Furthermore, Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada clarified that it has not yet issued any official position concerning its arsenal, nor has it adopted any such stance organizationally or signed any agreement in this regard.

Earlier on Saturday, during an interview with Al Jazeera, the Iraqi foreign minister claimed that the prime minister had successfully reached an agreement with four armed factions—including Asaib Ahl al-Haq and Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada—to regulate and organize weapons, while discussions with the al-Nujaba Movement and Kataib Hezbollah remain ongoing.
