Germany Rules Out Further Patriot System Deliveries to Ukraine Citing National Defense Risks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated in an interview with the Funke media group that the Berlin government can no longer provide additional Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine, warning that such a move would cause irreparable damage to Germany‘s own defense structure.
The senior German defense official explained that the procurement and provision of weaponry, particularly advanced air defense systems, have become increasingly difficult. According to his remarks, Berlin has previously dispatched a significant number of systems and guided missiles to Ukraine and is currently unable to go beyond these measures.
Pistorius further warned that the transferred equipment will not be replaced for a considerable period, creating vulnerabilities in Berlin’s defense system that cannot be accepted.
In another part of his remarks, he noted that other countries have taken significantly fewer actions and urged Germany’s allies to increase their efforts in supporting Ukraine.
Concluding his remarks, Pistorius announced the necessity of holding a very serious discussion on this issue during the upcoming Ukraine Contact Group meeting scheduled for mid-November.
