Flight Suspensions and Air Traffic Disruption at King Fahd Airport in Dammam

Flight operations at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam have been temporarily halted, leaving aircraft circling overhead as emergency warnings are issued across parts of eastern Saudi Arabia.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, flight tracking data from Flightradar24 indicates that all aircraft movements at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, located in eastern Saudi Arabia, have come to a sudden halt.

According to the latest reports, incoming passenger and cargo planes have been left circling over the skies of Dammam, unable to land at the facility due to the ongoing disruptions. In addition to the airport standstill, local reports confirm that security and emergency warning sirens were activated earlier in the day across the Al-Ahsa and Abqaiq provinces of Saudi Arabia.

Previously, Yemeni armed forces had claimed responsibility for multiple drone and missile strikes targeting the strategic Dammam airport in response to ongoing Saudi-led military operations across various regions, particularly targeting non-military areas.
