The President of Turkmenistan called for increasing trade cooperation with Iran

According to a Fars news agency reporter in Dushanbe, the specialized exhibition of Iranian goods named “Iranian Project” started today in Turkmenistan and will continue until Sunday.

He further pointed to the perspectives that open up in partnership with Iran, especially in the field of interaction along the “Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran” railway line.

According to his words, the economic projects of the business circles of Turkmenistan and Iran, including the projects that will be presented on the sidelines of the upcoming business forum, will play a special role in strengthening relations between the two countries.

In the message of the president of Turkmenistan, special attention was paid to the work of the intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Iran, whose meeting will also be held in Ashgabat these days.

He stated: There is no doubt that the future negotiations and agreements will be a prerequisite for strengthening and expanding the cooperation between the businessmen of the two neighboring countries in new fields, as well as the subsequent implementation of projects of interest to both parties.

The aforementioned specialized exhibition starts today at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and continues until November 19.

Within the framework of this event, the products of large Iranian companies (about 100 companies) are engaged in manufacturing and construction materials (building materials, plumbing, electrical appliances, lighting) and engineering services (oil and gas production, petrochemical, electricity) are offered to visitors. The trade fair will be held with the aim of establishing contacts, negotiations and exchange of information between Iranian and Turkmen companies. The road and urban development of Iran is predicted.
