According to the Fars news agency reporter in Tashkent, “Saidah Mirziyeva”, assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, and “Teresa Ribeiro”, the representative of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in matters of media freedom, met in the city of “Tashkent” and discussed issues of media freedom.
In this meeting, the parties discussed the existing problems and possibilities of media freedom in the world, in a situation where contradictions reach their peak.
Mirziyeva noted on her Telegram channel: Today we are in the stage of evolution of mass media laws. We are currently preparing a draft media law.
He continued: Maintaining the positive changes we have achieved in recent years in the field of mass media and supporting journalists. It is important for us.
In the framework of this meeting, the parties also discussed future joint projects.
