Norway’s request to restore financial aid to “UNRWA”

According to the report of the international group of Fars news agency, in continuation of Norway’s emphasis on the continuation of its financial aid to the UN aid agency to the Palestinian refugees in the Gaza Strip, this country also demanded the revival of aid from other countries.
Norwegian Foreign Minister Esben Barth Idi said early Monday: “Now is not the time to abandon the Palestinian people by stopping financial aid to UNRWA.”
According to Al Jazeera’s website, he asked the countries suspending aid to UNRWA to consider the consequences for the Palestinians.

Referring to the shortages in Gaza, a report stated that 1.7 million people are homeless and facing shortages in the Gaza Strip, and the people of Gaza are in urgent and basic need of shelter, food, water and medicine.
