Assassination of one of the commanders of Asaib Ahl al-Haq in Iraq

Al-Ahed news channel reported, quoting a security source, that unknown gunmen killed Naji Al-Kaabi, one of the commanders of Asaib Ahl al-Haq group, in Maysan province in eastern Iraq.

According to the international group Tasnim News Agency, the Ahed news channel quoted a security source about the assassination. Naji al-Kaabi, one of the commanders of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, announced an armed attack in a military area in the capital of Maysan province of Iraq.

According to this source, two armed men on a motorcycle killed Naji al-Kaabi, one of the commanders of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq. They shot him in Misan province and martyred him.

This source emphasized that the perpetrators of this crime immediately fled from the scene of the incident and the security forces have started their extensive investigation to discover aspects of this incident.

Al-Sheikh Qays Khazali, Secretary General of Iraq’s Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq Movement, expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of Naji Al-Kaabi and asked his comrades to avoid any provocative behavior or decision against the law in this regard.

In the statement of Qais Khazali, it is stated that Naji Al-Kaabi had devoted himself to the defense of religion and homeland in various fields.
