Israeli torture tactics to martyr Palestinian prisoners

Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Commission in a new report published based on the visit of its lawyer to Gush Etzion prison revealed new details that almost 90% of the 105 Palestinian prisoners were raped and abused from the moment they were arrested until they arrived at the prison. and have been physically harassed.

According to Al-Mayadeen, the lawyer of the Commission for the Affairs of Palestinian Prisoners and Prisoners described the prison situation as catastrophic and emphasized the overcrowding of the cells and said that the prisoners are forced to sleep on the dry floor without mattresses, clothes and blankets. This situation is in spite of the fact that it is not possible to close the window, because instead of the wall, it is covered with metal bars and keeps the cell cold. When it rains, water seeps into the cells and forms puddles in which the prisoners are forced to sleep.

The torture tactics used by Israeli guards are further highlighted in this report. The prison guards knock on the doors in the middle of the night to wake up the prisoners and deprive them of sleep, and sometimes they go so far as to forcibly take them out to the prison grounds, line them up and keep them standing for no reason. It is worth mentioning that illness and medical conditions among prisoners are not paid attention to and are deliberately neglected.

This report states that these are the methods that “Israel” uses to inflict slow and torturous deaths on Palestinian prisoners.
