On the other hand, Riyad Mansour, the Permanent Representative of Palestine to the United Nations, requested the issuance of a resolution for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Nicolas de Riviere, Permanent Representative of France to the United Nations, also asked the Security Council to fulfill all its responsibilities. He also called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza for humanitarian reasons.
