Doha’s new stance on the ceasefire in Gaza

report Mehr News Agency quoted by Al Jazeera, Majid Al Ansari, spokesman of Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced the continuation of consultations to establish a ceasefire in Gaza.
He added that Doha has a positive interaction and constructively interacts with all sides in the hope of achieving a ceasefire.
Al-Ansari emphasized: The negotiations are sensitive and this is due to the complex conditions in the field.
Qatar Foreign Ministry spokesman also denied any pressure on Hamas and its leaders to accept the ceasefire.
He announced the efforts to remove obstacles, but did not mention the side that failed the ceasefire.
Al-Ansari also said about the temporary port that the US has announced about its construction, that Qatar supports the efforts to bring aid to the people of Gaza.
At the same time, he emphasized that no corridor can replace the land crossing.
The spokesperson of Qatar’s Foreign Ministry announced that America has the ability to pressure Tel Aviv.
