Martyrdom of 830,000 Yemeni children as a result of the 9-year siege

reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Al-Masirah, the Ministry of Health of the Sana’a government, in a press conference held on the occasion of the 9th anniversary of the resistance against the American-Saudi aggression in Yemen, expressed information and statistics about this war and announced that this ministry has registered the martyrdom of 3184 children and the injuries of 4714 other children.
According to this report, since the easing of tension between the two sides, 375 Yemeni citizens have been martyred and 2629 others have been injured. Also, during this period, 69 medical personnel were martyred and the attackers targeted 100 ambulances.
Yemen Ministry of Health also reported that the attackers targeted 539 medical centers and disabled 55% of Yemeni health facilities with their baran missiles.
The Gaza Ministry of Health also announced the cut of salaries of more than 50,000 medical staff in Yemen and announced that 45% of health facilities operate with minimal facilities.
This statement emphasized that more than 830,000 Yemeni children under the age of 5 died as a result of the consequences and problems caused by the 9-year siege of Yemen. According to this statement, 46,000 women have also lost their lives as a result of the siege of Yemen.
Yemen’s Ministry of Health also announced that the aggressor coalition is preventing the entry of radioactive materials and equipment to treat and reduce the pain of cancer patients in Yemen, and has prevented the entry of 559 vital medicines into Yemen.
According to this report, there is an urgent need for the unconditional reopening of Sana’a airport so that the problems of Yemeni patients can be solved and rare medicines can enter this country.
