Egypt also expressed its solidarity with Syria as a friendly country in respect for the integrity and health of its lands and its people.
Lebanon Foreign Ministry issued a statement strongly condemning the Israeli regime’s attack on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus.
The statement of this ministry states that the attack on diplomatic centers and missions is a clear violation of international law and a dangerous disregard of the Vienna Conventions.
Zionist regime yesterday evening with 6 missiles launched by its F-35 fighters attacked the Iranian consulate building in Damascus in Al-Mazza area. This attack led to the complete destruction of the building and martyrdom of the people inside. Sardar Mohammad Reza Zahedi, one of the commanders of the Quds Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and his deputy along with 5 others were martyred in this terrorist attack.
