Haniyeh: The killing of my children by Israel will not change the positions of Hamas

In response to the martyrdom of his children and grandchildren, the head of the Hamas political office considered all the Palestinian martyrs as his children.

The Zionist regime uses all the tools at its disposal to show its brutality in Gaza. In addition to destroying infrastructure, hospitals, and preventing humanitarian aid from entering this barricade, Tel Aviv has now attacked the families of Hamas members.

According to Al Jazeera, Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’s political bureau, announced today (Wednesday) that the attack on my family by the Zionist regime is another sign of Israel’s failure. However, such actions will not change the positions of Hamas in the negotiations regarding the cease-fire in Gaza.

He pointed out: Hamas will not retreat from its positions, including the establishment of a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and the return of refugees to their homes. With such an approach, Israel will never achieve its demands through politics and negotiation.

Haniyeh pointed to the widespread atrocities committed by the Zionists in Gaza and emphasized: If Israel thought that Hamas would change its position by targeting my children at such a critical moment in the negotiations, they are delusional. The blood of my children is no more valuable than the blood of the children of other Palestinians in Gaza. All the Palestinian martyrs in Gaza are my children.

News sources reported hours before a civilian car carrying the children and grandchildren of Ismail Haniyeh was targeted on the day of Eid al-Fitr, during which all of them were martyred.
