Zelensky: We will lose the war without American aid
Considering the differences in the US Congress over the allocation of more financial aid to Kyiv, the President of Ukraine said that if the Congress does not agree, Ukraine will lose the war. |
“Volodymyr Zelensky”, the president of Ukraine, said today (Sunday) that Kiev will lose the war against Russia if more military aid to Ukraine is not approved by the US Congress.
Agence France-Presse reported that Zelensky said in a virtual meeting with a charity: “It is necessary to specifically tell Congress that if it does not help Ukraine, it will lose the war.”
Since the start of Russian military operations in Ukraine (February 24, 2022), the West has sent extensive financial aid and military equipment to Ukraine. In the meantime, America is considered one of the biggest supporters of Kyiv by sending more than 100 billion dollars in aid.
The aid requested by the US government for Ukraine and the Zionist regime, worth a total of more than 110 billion dollars, is at a standstill due to differences between Congress and the White House over political priorities, including strengthening the security of the border with Mexico.
The United States has provided more than 44.2 billion dollars in security aid to Ukraine. About 23.6 billion dollars of this amount has been removed from the existing stocks of the US military, and almost 19 billion dollars of this amount have been allocated in the form of longer-term military contracts for items that take several months to produce.
America, along with about 30 other partners, have also put the forces of the Ukrainian army under military training.
