Hungarian Prime Minister’s sarcasm to France after the opening ceremony of the Olympics

Hungary's prime minister mocked France by criticizing the opening ceremony of the Olympics and said that anyone can show anything.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban criticized France for the opening scenes of the Olympic Games in Paris and said: “Every nation has the right to show what it is.”

According to the report of Anatoly, the organizers of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games hosted by Paris, the capital of France, were heavily criticized for holding a “drag queen” show (a man dressed as a woman and with makeup). In this show, they insulted the “Last Supper” painting, which deals with an image of Jesus (PBUH).

Orban posted a video on his platform X account that included him speaking at an event in a city in Romania with a large Hungarian population, in which he criticized the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics. Orban emphasized that they should keep calm in this matter.

He explained that even if they were upset by what they saw in the opening ceremony performances, the French people should not feel hurt. Because the French will be their allies in many aspects in the short, medium and long term.

Urban criticized the West following the reinterpretation of Leonardo da Vinci’s painting called “The Last Supper” at the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Paris, the capital of France, and said: “There is no morality in the Western world.”

On the other hand, the French Catholic Church expressed its displeasure and said: “Unfortunately, this concert contained scenes that mocked Christianity.” We express our deep regret for this situation.

The opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, which was accompanied by an insult to the Prophet (PBUH), provoked many reactions. In addition to Christians, some Muslim officials also described this show as disgusting.
