White House Denies Talks with Iran Amidst Qatari Prime Minister’s Tehran Visit

The White House has stated that no negotiations are underway with Iran, nor are any future discussions planned, in response to the visit of Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani to Tehran.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the White House spokesperson, speaking to Al Mayadeen network, commented on the trip of Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, to Tehran. The spokesperson declared: “There are no negotiations underway with Iran, and no discussions are planned for the future.”

The spokesperson also asserted: “The maritime blockade against Iran remains in place and is being fully enforced.”

This news comes hours after Majid Al Ansari, the spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced Al Thani’s visit to Iran today.
