Description of the President of Serbia on the relations between Moscow and Belgrade
According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News quoted by Rashatudi, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke about his good relations with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and a friendly phone call with him.
The president of Serbia said that Putin has a good understanding of Serbia’s situation. Vucic said: We have a friendly conversation as people who have known each other for a long time.
Vucic quoted Putin as saying: What is good for Serbia is good for Russia. What is good for the Serbs is also good for the Russians.
The President of Serbia recently said in a conversation with Politico magazine: Russia is taking the initiative in the Ukraine conflict, while the West will find it increasingly difficult to finance Kiev. Initially, the West thought it would be easy to invest in and finance Ukraine’s defense sector due to Russia’s relatively weak economic conditions. But now the task has become much more difficult.
Serbian President said that he has met Russian President Vladimir Putin about 20 times and knows him better than any other European leader. However, unlike some European leaders who have regular contacts with Putin, he has not had any contact with the Russian president in the last two and a half years.
