The spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry said in this regard: The signing of the 100-year partnership agreement between Ukraine and Great Britain is unimportant. Behind this agreement, we can see London’s desire to reach the Azov-Black Sea region.
Maria Zakharova continued in this regard: There is no room for cooperation in the Sea of Azov for Ukraine and England. Moscow considers the partnership agreement between Ukraine and England as a move to attract attention from the Kiev regime.
Zakharova further described the agreement as a propaganda ploy by the Ukrainian government, which aims to create the illusion of strong alliances.
He then added: If Starmer (Prime Minister of England) resigns or the regime of Zelensky (President of Ukraine) falls, few people will remember the agreement between Kiev and London. Moscow will strongly deal with any claim on the waters of the Sea of Azov.
It should be noted that this agreement was signed during the visit of British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer to Ukraine last Thursday. The published document shows plans to establish military bases in Ukraine and cooperation in the field of long-range weapon systems.
