The occurrence of armed conflicts near the common borders of Lebanon and Syria

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency quoted by Russia Al-Youm, the Lebanese army issued a statement and announced that the country’s military forces clashed with armed elements near the Syrian border.

This is not the first time that since the overthrow of the regime of Bashar al-Assad and the rule of terrorists in Syria, these conflicts have occurred near the common borders of the two countries.

The statement of the Lebanese army states: During the patrolling of the military forces in the Al-Qasr-Al-Harmel area near the common border between Lebanon and Syria, unknown armed elements came from the Syrian side. Lebanese forces opened fire.

The Lebanese army also shot at these elements and clashes occurred in the area during which one of the country’s military forces was injured.
