Egypt Calls for Start of Second Phase of Gaza Ceasefire Agreement
EgyptS Foreign minister stresses the importance of continuing efforts to implement the terms of the Gaza peace agreement and to initiate its second phase.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Sputnik, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held seperate phone calls with his counterparts from France, Greece, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan. He called for accelerated measures to implement the second phase of the gaza ceasefire agreement and to begin reconstruction efforts.
He emphasized that an international conference on Gaza’s reconstruction would be a crucial step in uniting global efforts to support the Palestinian people and rebuild devastated areas within a extensive plan led by Arab-Islamic countries.
It is worth noting that despite Hamas’ adherence to this agreement’s provisions,Israel continues its attacks on various parts of Gaza.
