According to the English section of webangah ‌News agency, citing Shehab News Agency via Mehr News agency, Palestinian sources confirmed that a recent Israeli strike east of gaza City killed one Palestinian.

The sources stated that an ⁤Israeli drone targeted ‍the Al-Shujaiya area in eastern Gaza City, causing the death.

This attack comes as Riyad Mansour, Palestine’s permanent representative to the United Nations, described the ceasefire in Gaza as “very fragile,”⁣ highlighting⁣ repeated violations by Israel.

Mansour sent a letter ⁢to ‌UN Secretary-General António Guterres, as well as to the Security Council president ⁢and General Assembly president, detailing over 700 days of Israeli attacks against Palestinians in Gaza.

In his letter,⁣ Mansour emphasized that the ceasefire remains extremely fragile and faces serious and repeated breaches by occupying Israel.

The Palestinian envoy stressed that in⁤ the past three weeks alone, Israeli forces have violated the ceasefire hundreds of times in Gaza. These violations have resulted in 211 Palestinians killed-including‍ women and children-and extensive destruction ⁤of infrastructure.

Mansour called on the international community to fully halt these ⁢breaches ‍with urgency. He urged efforts to alleviate Palestinian suffering by facilitating reconstruction, recovery processes, and ‍accelerating⁣ full ⁣withdrawal of occupying forces from Gaza while ensuring enforcement and stability of the ceasefire agreement.
