According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by the Mehr News Agency quoting the Shihab News Agency, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, issued a statement on Friday mourning the martyrdom of three brave resistance fighters. The three fighters were killed following what they termed a cowardly assassination operation that took place in the city of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, while remembering the jihadist path of the martyred Commander Qais Ibrahim Muhammad Al-Baytavi, highlighted his prominent role in overseeing and executing a number of Al-Qassam operations in the Jenin Governorate. The last operation under his supervision was the detonation of a roadside bomb in the Al-Jabriyat neighborhood on June 11, 2026, which resulted in the injury of two officers, one of whom was reported to be in critical condition.
At the end of their statement, the Al-Qassam Brigades pledged to Almighty God and then to their esteemed nation to remain steadfast on the path of jihad and martyrdom, and to continue the path of resistance until the occupiers are expelled from the land of Palestine and the full rights of the Palestinian people are regained, God willing.
