US Senators Criticize Trump’s War Policies, Call for End to Iran Conflict

U.S. Senators Adam Schiff and Bernie Sanders have publicly condemned the Trump administration’s aggressive war policies, emphasizing the need to immediately cease the ongoing conflict against Iran and redeploy American forces.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Senator Adam Schiff, a Democrat from California, has sharply criticized President Donald Trump’s war-mongering policies. In a statement posted on his personal page, Schiff underscored the necessity of ending the United States’ aggressive war against Iran.

Schiff wrote, “Today marks six months since the commencement of the war against Iran; a war that is proceeding without any clear strategy and without a prospect for its conclusion.” He pointed to the escalating costs for the United States across all sectors during the past six months as a consequence of this engagement.

The California senator also highlighted the human and social toll of the conflict, noting that American soldiers have been separated from their families since the aggression began, with 18 U.S. military personnel killed in the fighting to date. “We must end this war and bring our forces home,” he concluded.

In a related development, Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont previously asserted the illegality of these actions, stating that the aggression against Iran contravenes the U.S. Constitution and international law, and should never have been initiated. During an interview, Sanders stressed the urgency of halting the conflict, adding, “We must end this war through negotiation as soon as possible.” He also drew attention to the devastating economic repercussions of this aggression on the United States, noting that the war has driven up the price of gasoline and other commodities. Sanders proposed that the primary solution lies in negotiating with Iran to end the war and prevent further damage to the American economy.
