Turkey Condemns Netanyahu’s Remarks as ‘Ridiculous’, Accuses Israel of Destabilizing Region

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Burhanettin Duran, Head of Communications for the Turkish Presidency, criticized Israel’s policies as irrational and uncontrollable, describing them as nothing short of mockery. Duran emphasized that Israel’s persistent actions have destabilized the region, while Turkey, under President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, remains a guarantor of peace and stability.
Duran accused Netanyahu government of causing bloodshed and suffering in the region, acting as an occupying power in Palestine and Syria, and masking expansionist goals under the pretext of internal security. He stated that the world has witnessed one of the most horrific genocides in history, making Israeli officials’ talk of others’ imperialist ambitions pure contradiction.
The Turkish official further claimed that Tel Aviv has instigated conflicts against seven Middle Eastern countries over the past two years, calling Netanyahu’s cabinet a disaster for both the region and Israelis themselves. He asserted that such ridiculous statements and worthless tricks would not deter Turkey’s support for Palestinian brothers.
The remarks follow Netanyahu’s recent meeting in occupied Al-Quds with the Prime Minister of Greece and the President of Cyprus, where they agreed to enhance security and technical cooperation. Netanyahu claimed that collaboration with these parties would achieve peace and stability through strength, while Hebrew media reported his comments were directed at Turkey.
Hebrew media also reported plans for a rapid reaction force in the Eastern Mediterranean involving 2,500 troops from Israel, Greece, and Cyprus, stationed across Greek islands, Cyprus, and occupied territories, aimed at countering Turkey.
