US Official: Ukraine’s Demands in Peace Talks Have Become Clearer

Matthew Whitaker, the US Permanent Representative to NATO, stated that participants in the Ukraine crisis negotiations are currently working on four key documents, with Ukraine’s demands now more transparent.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Matthew Whitaker, the US Permanent Representative to NATO, revealed in an interview with Fox News that negotiators working to resolve the Ukraine crisis are currently finalizing four key documents. Whitaker emphasized that these include a 20-point peace plan, a set of multilateral security guarantees, specific US security assurances, and a post-war economic recovery program.

He added that all four documents are being negotiated simultaneously, and there is now a relatively clear understanding of Ukraine’s demands. Despite multiple rounds of talks, the war between Russia and Ukraine continues, with territorial disputes remaining the primary obstacle to a resolution.

Both Russia and Ukraine are striving to maintain and expand their controlled territories, aiming to gain the upper hand both on the battlefield and at the negotiating table.
