Turkish and Azerbaijani Presidents Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Peace in Phone Call

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a phone conversation, reaffirming their commitment to bilateral cooperation and expressing satisfaction with the progress in Armenia-Azerbaijan peace talks.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev engaged in a telephone discussion, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties and regional developments. The Turkish Presidency’s Communications Directorate reported that both leaders pledged to continue joint efforts across various sectors, particularly in trade, to achieve mutual objectives.
President Erdogan expressed satisfaction with the ongoing peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, reiterating Turkey‘s support for the normalization of relations. During the call, Erdogan also extended congratulations to Aliyev on his birthday and the start of the new year.
