Russian Defense Ministry Reports Kupyansk Under Russian Control After Repelling Ukrainian Attacks
Russian forces have repelled three Ukrainian attacks near Kupyansk, with the city remaining under Moscow’s control as troops clear remaining Ukrainian units, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry announced it has successfully repelled three Ukrainian attacks aimed at breaching defenses near Kupyansk. The overnight assaults occurred in the Blahodatovka, Palamarivka, and Osynove areas, resulting in approximately 60 Ukrainian casualties.
The ministry confirmed that Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region remains under the control of the Western Group of Russian Armed Forces. Russian commanders stated their troops are currently clearing buildings and underground areas of remaining Ukrainian military elements in the city.
