Gulf States Reject Use of Their Territories for Attacks on Iran, Says UAE Diplomatic Advisor

Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the UAE President, stated that Persian Gulf countries have collectively declared their territories, airports, and facilities will not be used to target Iran, amid rising regional tensions.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Anwar Gargash, the diplomatic advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, emphasized that Persian Gulf nations have collectively affirmed their territories, airports, and infrastructure will not be utilized for any attacks against Iran. Gargash noted the current regional situation is deeply concerning, adding that escalating tensions surrounding Iran did not come as a surprise.

The senior Emirati official stressed that the interests of his country and other Persian Gulf states lie in avoiding any form of confrontation. This statement follows similar declarations by Saudi and Qatari officials, who previously asserted they would not permit their airspace to be used for potential strikes on Iran.
