Senior ISIS Commander Killed in Iraqi Air Force Strike

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a security source in Iraq announced the death of one of the principal commanders of the terrorist group ISIS following a successful military operation.
The security source specified that Abu Hajar al-Ani, the ISIS leader responsible for the Nineveh island sector, was killed during precision air raids carried out by the Iraqi Army’s F-16 fighter jets.
These decisive operations took place yesterday, targeting various locations within the Al-Hadar district. In addition to the death of Al-Ani, four other members belonging to the terrorist organization were also reportedly killed during the strikes.
Al-Ani was considered a high-ranking figure within ISIS, possessing an extensive history marked by numerous terrorist acts committed across Anbar and Nineveh provinces. Security analysts note his removal as a significant blow to the group’s regional operational capabilities.
It is understood that Iraqi security forces had been intensely tracking the ISIS commander over recent months. The operation was finalized only after the precise location of his hideout was identified, allowing Iraqi fighter jets to execute the accurate strike.
