Russian Ambassador Warns of Dangerous US Pressure Tactics in Latin America

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Nikolay Sofinskiy, Russia‘s Ambassador to Mexico, has described the United States’ actions against Latin American countries as a dangerous practice. In an interview with RIA Novosti, he stated that the Latin American region is experiencing increased and severe external pressure from the United States.
Sofinskiy described the pressure on countries in the region as the essence of the new U.S. national security strategy, referring to it as the new “Monroe Doctrine.” He added that the foreign policy of the Mexican government plays a stabilizing role in Latin America in the face of these pressures.
The Russian diplomat emphasized that U.S. actions are shaping a dangerous course that threatens the entire legal system governing international relations globally.
