US Ambassador’s Remarks on Occupied Territories Spark International Condemnation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the spokesperson for the U.S. Embassy in the Occupied Territories addressed controversial remarks made by U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee, which were reportedly made to justify his statements. The spokesperson claimed that Huckabee’s comments had been taken out of context and that there had been no change in Washington’s policies toward Tel Aviv.
This comes after U.S. President Donald Trump previously emphasized the necessity of expanding the occupied territories, citing a lack of sufficient land. Just yesterday, Mike Huckabee, the U.S. Ambassador to the Occupied Territories, ignited a storm of controversy with his statements advocating for the expansion of the Israeli regime’s occupation from the Nile to the Euphrates. He subsequently attempted to justify his earlier positions with new pronouncements.
Huckabee took to social media to attribute responsibility for the discussed remarks to well-known American host Tucker Carlson, alleging that Carlson had steered him toward discussing these topics. He further claimed that Carlson had diverted the conversation to other countries that had no connection to the discussion of Israel and Zionism.
The U.S. Ambassador reiterated his support for the Israeli regime, asserting that it has the right to live in peace and security, without referencing the regime’s actions in the region. Previously, 17 Islamic and Arab countries and entities had condemned Huckabee’s statements concerning the extensive occupation of the Middle East by the Israeli regime.
