France Bars US Ambassador Kushner from Cabinet Meetings Amid Diplomatic Dispute

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, diplomatic sources have revealed that Charles Kushner, the United States Ambassador to Paris, is no longer permitted to hold meetings with members of the French cabinet. This decision was enacted after Ambassador Kushner did not comply with a request from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to attend a designated meeting.
The same sources indicated that Kushner had previously been summoned by the French Foreign Ministry regarding what were described as interference-related remarks from the U.S. Embassy concerning the death of a French activist. However, he failed to appear for this meeting. The Associated Press also reported that Paris has denied access to its cabinet members after his non-attendance at a session intended to discuss the Trump administration’s stance on the killing of this French activist.
This marks the second instance where Ambassador Kushner has disregarded summonses. In August 2025, he similarly failed to respond to a request from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to clarify his position on the expansion of what he termed “anti-Semitism” within the country.
