UK Carrier HMS Prince of Wales Deploys to Arctic for NATO Drills

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, information published by Mehr News Agency, citing the BBC, indicates that the UK’s aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales will not be deployed to Western Asia. Instead, the vessel is scheduled to travel to the Arctic to take part in pre-planned NATO drills.
HMS Prince of Wales is one of two aircraft carriers belonging to the United Kingdom. A spokesperson for the UK Prime Minister stated that the carrier is at a very high level of readiness, and the Ministry of Defence is enhancing its preparedness to reduce the time required for its deployment should any potential mission arise.
This development comes amidst previous reports of Donald Trump expressing anger over London’s non-participation in a United States-Zionist aggression against Iran.
